July 4th’s recollection of the Declaration of Independence is an invitation for us to celebrate not just American independence, but to look once again at what America is called to be. Given where we have come to these days, it is important to try to keep in mind where we mean to be going. Rev. Elwood served as Minister of our congregation from 1987 to 2018.
