Dear Friends,

I hope this finds you well. As you know, the upcoming meeting of our Interfaith Study Group is on February 26, 2025 (7.00 – 8.30 p.m.) At the start of our meeting we will share our takeaways from our last meeting on January 22, 2025, when we had the privilege of hearing our Distinguished Guest Speaker Baha Hilo’s presentation and his answers to the questions put to him. This visit by an eminent Palestinian educator and activist was of immense importance for us and we would like to share our thoughts and reflections on what he said and what this means for us as we continue both our study and our efforts to raise public awareness of issues raised by Dr. Rashid Khalidi and Dr. Ilan Pappe.

 The assigned readings for our upcoming meeting are Chapters 1, 2, and 3, of Dr. Pappe’s encyclopedic book “Lobbying for Zionism on Both Sides of the Atlantic.” The Notes on these Chapters have been prepared by Stretch (Chapter 1), Rev. Carol Ruthven (Chapter 2), and Dr. Dennis Neyman (Chapter 3). They are attached to this letter, and will, hopefully, facilitate the task of identifying and understanding how lobbying for Zionism was done in Britain.
