Congrats KEAP Grads!!

Kenyan Education and AIDS Program (KEAP) has NINE GRADUATES!!

We are entering our 16th year of the Kenyan Education and AIDS Program (KEAP) and this year we have 9 graduates! Seven are graduating from universities across Kenya, and 2 are graduating from post-secondary technical certificate programs. These graduations represent 15 years of support from TJUC members and friends, who have followed these young adults from childhood, and have provided them with an education that would have not been imaginable. Our caregiver, Sheilla Vwmula (seen in many of the pictures), has attended all the graduations. The Sponsors and the KEAP program will continue to support these young people through the next 6 months of unpaid volunteer work, which is required after graduation in Kenya. Getting a job is not easy in Kenya, even with a good education, so we wish them well, and we are very grateful to have Sheilla Vwmula working with them to keep them encouraged, inspired, and directed toward a rewarding life in Kenya.
