Roberta Marx Gallery
All Peoples’ involvement with the fine arts has been legendary in the City of Louisville, Kentucky. Fine arts events have attracted thousands of visitors and hundreds of artists to participate in exhibitions and fairs, including WinterFair, for at least 45 years.
Sculpture, photography, paintings with many mediums, all crafts and medias are continually submitted by artists who display their work at All Peoples’ Roberta Marx Gallery, as members of All Peoples have recognized the arts as a meaningful part of personal spirituality and worship.
The Roberta Marx Gallery is named after a past member of the church, an artist who inspired professional and amateur artists alike to exhibit their creations. Funded in part by a generous bequest from her estate, the entry hallway gallery honors Roberta’s commitment to All Peoples and the arts. This space is a unique pass-through gallery that everyone encounters when they enter the building.
The exhibit rotates throughout the year, including times for members’ works to be displayed.
When marked, artwork may be purchased through the office. A staff person is available during business hours and on Sundays, to welcome visitors to view the gallery.
