Days for Girls Plant Sale Fundraiser a Success!

May 8, 2021 was a beautiful day for a community plant sale to raise funds for “Days for Girls”,  an International Justice Committee program.  $2500 was raised with volunteer help and the generosity of the community. Thanks for Sheila Ward and Diane Guenthner and helpers for a great fundraiser!  

First Bipartisan Carbon Pricing Bill of 117th Congress Introduced

Late last week, the first bipartisan carbon pricing bill of the current Congress was introduced by Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA-01) and Rep. Salud Carbajal (D-CA-24). Metro Louisville signs executive order to add Electric Vehicles to city fleet!

On the May 6, 2021 Press Conference showcased Mayor Greg Fischer’s signing of an executive order that will prioritize adding electric vehicles to Louisville Metro Government’s fleet.
