Tapestry Magazine
The Tapestry, the monthly newsletter, long appreciated for maintaining connections within our church community, is returning in a new form: as a quarterly full-color magazine available in print and through our web site. The new mission of the Tapestry is to celebrate All Peoples congregational life through personal reflections, stories, poetry, music, visual arts, and a healthy measure of fun.
To make this project as inclusive as possible, we are calling on our membership to submit their creative works. The function of the Tapestry will not overlap our web site, Facebook page, or weekly emails. Frequently updated digital communications are much better than print for timely announcements and current events. Neither will the Tapestry be a venue for political commentary or divisive argument; the church already provides more appropriate opportunities for debating critical issues as they arise. Instead, this will be a space for sharing personal reflections, insights into congregational life, and creative contributions with the All Peoples community. (It will serve as a welcoming orientation to visitors and friends as well.)
Each issue will have a theme, but content on any topic is welcome. Space is limited, so we will keep all submissions on file for future issues.
