Co-facilitated by Pat Stutzel and Lori Sargent:  “Together We Grow” (2017)

More than 60 men and women and girls and boys in All Peoples congregation created this quilt that now hangs proudly in All Peoples Sanctuary.  Lori Sargent and Pat Sturtzel worked on the concept and presented workshops for our members to instruct them on its creation including dyeing the fabric, printing the nature features, and adding embroidery to the finished quilt.  “Together We Grow” represents the deep roots and branching values and members of all backgrounds as symbolized by the various birds in the quilt.

Our quilt in now included in the newly published book “Kentucky Quilts and Quiltmakers” that includes Pat Sturtzel’s background as a fabric artist.
